International team to monitor presidential election - Who wants to DIE first?
CNN ^ | David de Sola

News story:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A team of international observers will monitor the presidential election in November, according to the U.S. State Department. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe was invited to monitor the election by the State Department. The observers will come from the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.

If I see one BLUE HELMET ..... No threat - just a promise!

they do not have to be wearing the helmets or uniforms (then they are illegal agents) either.

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic ..... SO HELP ME GOD.

NOW we find the reason for the SECOND AMENDMENT!

...

To: umgud

Ought to make sure they have a nice hospitality meeting.

This is a door opener. Next election they are going to have 100 observers, next one 250. Pretty soon the UN will come in and thats it for us. It is a disgrace that the representatives of the people would use their anger about 2000 as an excuse for what they really want anyway, one large government body to take care of us hapless sheeple. I know it isn't near that yet, but this is a serious step towards being subjected to the rule of a world body.

This is bull-shiite!. I'll be wearing my Sig P239 in full view. And the wife with her Walther PPKS. If a blue helmet peers behind the curtain; there will be a reaction... Confrontation!

Now I understand the true definition
of 'redneck.' Anyone who would threaten or harm another to protect their God-given right to be a cheating, lying, piece of GOP excrement. Really, I wonder how much crack two parents are required to injest to get children with this level of mental retardation?

13. I think that the inbreeding was a little closer than just cousins.
Anyway, if these people go to the polls armed I hope that there's an officer of the law waiting right there at the polls to escort them to a jail cell.

17. That's what inbreeding does.
These people should be taken seriously but somehow I don't think they'll be so tough when election day comes.

They talk the big talk but when they realize that the Blue Helmets will shoot back they might consider leaving their Sig P239's and Walther PPKS's at home.

18. What is really funny----
This was requested by the BUSH ADMIN --- The State Department under Colin Powell requested it.

From the CNN article:

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe was invited to monitor the election by the State Department.

25. You can't carry a weapon into a polling place
It's one of those places that are off-limits for regular citizens. Also schools, nuclear facilities, places that sell booze, courthouses, etc.

This is why the Rambo talk from RWers does not concern me too much. If they don't know basic rules about weapons, chances are they don't even have one, or they will pull a Barney Fife when the shit hits the fan.
