we are very shorthanded in my department since the part time cake decorator quit friday... so we get this new girl in there.. she looks VERY young.. and she mentioned her boyfriend just got back from Iraq... ( i was thinking to myself 'great here it comes') so i asked her if her boyfriend was going to go back to Iraq.. she said "well thats not up to him its up to my boyfriend" ... i was like "ugh.. im fixin' to get the 'oh bush knows best' speech.... but then she said... "god willing we get a new prez. one that the military can look up too again" i was like WOOHOO!!! she said that her boyfriend who was in iraq HATED bush and that 85% of the guys he faught with did too... they think he is a coward and an idiot! i was so thrilled.. first that such a young (20) girl was so into politics she really knew her stuff, but that she said that such a high % of the military they knew disliked bush! woohoo! just thought i would share! :)
...the administration can't even get forces in Iraq enough bullets! And their humvees are not properly armored. The Bush cartel couldn't give a shit about the troops, just the oil.
10. Interesting how most of the current active duty troopies hate Bush, yet...
we're expected to believe that most Viet Nam vets hate Kerry and support Bush. Am I missing something here? Or is this one more ball that the "liberal media" has dropped?
i was watching cnn this afternoon and saw a segment on Inside Politics with a reporter from Nevada or Arizona (sorry I always have trouble telling them apart :-) ) The CNN anchor asked the local reporter about the military vote, the reporter replied that she suspected that the vote was leaning Bush but that from the stories she is hearing and the people she is talking to that support is very soft. Which to me means that she expects that vote to go Bush but that every vet or military person she talks to is voting Kerry.
