I've never met a "liberal" Fox viewer who wasn't a straight, white male.

There is some other need being fulfilled at a subconscious level, and I find it disturbing.

just so I could get upset over every &&^%*^ stupid thing
that happened.

I finally quit.

I'm better now, much calmer, don't *^*&*# go off on rants
as much, well almost.

Now I have FAUX deprogrammed from my cable.

5. I watch for 2 reasons.

First, I get A LOT of laughs. Second, "know thy enemy".

Folks, if you don't already KNOW what the dumbass wingnuts will 'think' (I use that term with the purest irony) on any given issue, you aren't thinking much either. They are so self-satirically predictable and dumb, it takes little imagination to fill in the gaps. If you can't counter their points 'unprepared' (i.e, not polluting your brain with Fox), I am not sure you have the intellectual acumen to be on my side.

It IS masochism, with an unhealthy lack of creativity and insight - possibly even intellect.

Many of us have watched it happen to people we know. It's horrifying, that glazed expression that shows that all critical facilities have
broken down and all the Republican talking points are being absorbed
directly into what is left of the brain.

They may be close to developing a form of propaganda so powerful that
it could fool all of the people all of the time, if everyone could be
induced to watch it. That would be the end of democracy, and of free
will generally, as all power devolved to whomever owns the media.
