Do you think that bin ladden will EVER be caught?
I do not think that bush will ever catch him... i believe thats another reason we went after Saddam... saddam they KNEW they could catch without MUCH drama... but bin ladden on the other hand... well he wont go down without a fight... i heard somewhere that bin ladden said that he wont be taken alive... and just think.. the day (if they ever) get close enough to him... he will kill hundreds himself then his followers will consider him a martyr and they will try to kill the most about of people possible...
so i personally do not believe we will ever catch him but that jmo

1. there are some crazies who think osama works for bushco
and that they have no intention whatsoever of persuing him. i'm still not convinced that it was osama who did 9-11. can anyone prove this to me?

i look into the faces of kkkarl rove and go-cheney-yourself and see pure evil and unfortunately i see more of a likelihood they were the masterminds behind it.

those are dangerous words, man :)

But to be honest, I have to agree. I've never heard any actual proof against Osama bin Laden, his face was just posted on every major news channel in the afternoon newscoverage on 9/11/00.

I think "everyone" just thought, well .. this has to be him. I think the white house dropped his name pretty quickly as well.

But then again, if he didn't do it. Who did? I think it's a bit far fetched to say he works for the Bush administration. If he did, he'd be governor of California by now.

6. I think he is dead already
and if he is not, he will kill himself before allowing a capture.

That said, I have always thought the DUers who believe that Bushco planned 9/11 are wrong. While I support the right to freely discuss any idea to get to the bottom of the truth, I also believe some ideas are so stupid they do not merit discussion. I believe discussion that Bushco planned 9/11 is comparable to discussion that the Holocaust never happened. Sure its a theory that some people choose to debate publicly, and free debate is the best way to reach the truth, but I think both of these ideas have such limited merit that the I consider the mere discussion of these ideas a waste.

Bush is the worst POTUS in our nations history. Very few men have managed to both screw up foreign affairs while destroying the county's infrastructure. Bush has managed to damage us internally and on the worldwide scale. I believe that bush, dick, rumi, rice and the rest had a plan to get to iraq no matter what. I think 9/11 gave them the outlet to direct public attention toward support of an offensive operation. Rove used 9/11 to gain seats in the House and Senate. However, there is a major distinction between using a terrorist attack to gain political advantage and planning the deaths of 3000 people.

The "proof" that bin laden was responsible for 9/11 will never be enough for some people. To me, Clinton's comments that once he heard about 9/11 he immediately thought it was bin laden was enough for me. The additional links between the hijackers and bin laden's network is fairly solid evidence as well. I am only 40 pages into the 9/11 commission report and I have not yet gotten to the discussion of these links. However, Dick Clark's book was pretty clear that it was bin laden and they knew it right away. Some of it turns of the credibility of the writer. I think Clinton, Clark and the 9/11 commission have a fair amount of credibility.

7. I agree with you.
I think he's been dead since Tora Bora. He was a sick man. But if we carry on this war in Iraq for three more years, Osama's son will take his place.

8. I agree
the war in Iraq is pushing islamic fundimentalists to the far right and resulting in more terror minded individuals. This war has created more terrorists.

10. Correct, Correct, and Correct
He is either already gone, he will NOT be taken alive, and i also agree that aQ is real, they really do hate us that much, and Bush's toughguy, cowboy rhetoric in the early stages of his office provided the incentive aQ needed to think they would get world sympathy and support if they attacked the U.S. at that time.

Obviously, it was a monumental miscalculation, in that most of the world was irritated, but hadn't gotten to the abject hatred point yet. OBL missed the difference, hence 9/11.

All that being said, all Li'l Georgie and Tricky Dick had to do was be statesmen, not idealogues and the world would never have come to the brink that OBL misread.

So, planning or no planning by the gov't, it's still the Bushgang's fault.

9. I think he's already caught
They have him on ice and will have Bush drag him out in chains right when he gives his speech at the RNC.

11. The U.S. didn't catch 1916 "terrorist" Pancho Villa
after his raid on Columbus, New Mexico. General "Black Jack" Pershing, who would later command the Allied forces of World War I, pursued Pancho Villa into Mexico. This 11 month pursuit led 10,000 American soldiers 400 miles into Mexico, but ended without the capture of Pancho Villa.

"Basically, the two American columns of the expedition got nowhere in their pursuit of Villa. Northern Mexico was a vast wasteland with few towns and dominated by the barren and rugged Sierra Madre Mountains with peaks averaging ten to twelve thousand feet and honeycombed with deep canyons providing excellent hiding places for Villa and his men. The few roads were little more than dirt trails, dusty in dry weather and muddy quagmires in the rain. Villa’s men were on their home ground while Pershing was moving into unfamiliar and largely unmapped territory depending on Mexican guides whose loyalty was always questionable."
