Bush criticized Kerry's plan to eliminate the tax cuts for those making more than $200,000 a year, saying that the "the rich in America happen to be the small business owners" who put people to work.

Bush also said high taxes on the rich are a failed strategy because "the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway." (snip)

2. So shouldn't he focus on going after the ones trying to dodge the
taxes? Also, is his logic that they don't dodge taxes if they are taxed less? What kind of warped intelligence does this moron have? Actually, what does that say about his respect for the intelligence of his constituents?

4. I wish the DNC would hit back on this myth (Small Business Owner = Rich)
Interview a series of small business owners, and at the point you tell them that Bush says they are R-I-C-H have their jaws drop.

Yes, some small business owners are rich, but a vast majority are just average joes trying to make it.

5. Sounds very contradictory to me
They don't pay taxes anyway cause they are rich so we need to give them bigger tax breaks.

6. the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway.
Is that what * does? How very American of him. And if "the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway" why do they need tax cuts to begin with? Also, if they pay lower taxes, does that mean they won't still continue to "figure out how to dodge taxes....?" :eyes:

8. Kerry already said
he was going to give a tax cut to small businesses, and businesses that keep jobs here.
