The AWOL Years
These repubs have no shame. The Dems must go all out on this. Every time someone questions Kerry's service, the response should be AWOL George, case closed.

A couple of points.

As far as I know, strong bonds are formed in the military. How is it that so many people remember Kerry from Vietnam, but noone remembers the little cheerleader from Alabama? Granted, stronger bonds are forged in war, but this can't explain away this tremendous gap in recall.

Up until a few weeks ago, the military's word was golden to these repubs. Example, the little cheerleader was "honorably discharged." Kerry was awarded his various medals, etc. by the same military. All of a sudden, the military's word doesn't carry weight? Now, I'm hesitant to take anything at face value. However, when you couple Kerry's medals with the personal account of Mr. Rassman it bolsters the case. Where are the personal a/c's of little George in Alabama to validate his "honorable discharge."

2. Good question, especially considering he was the son of
a Senator at that time. You'd have thought someone would have noticed even more they were serving with the son of a Senator.

5. I met up last May in Reno
with two old Navy buddies that I had served with from late 1957 to mid 1959. I would not have recognized either one had I passed them on the street but I remembered enough about them to track them thru the internet. Funny thing is one is a bit of a freeper that I'm sure missed the irony of the three of us getting together while, to date, no credible person has come forth to verify Bush's whereabouts during the period in question.
