Re: Last night's TDS with Bill Clinton
BTW: The rerun is on now.

Is it me, or did BC look completely disgusted?

Or was it pissed?

p.s. he sure has big hands.........

5. He was definitely subdued...
Watching it, I wondered what was up. I thought he was fabulous and articulate and wonderful as always but his demeanor was different.

...and disgusted. Not with Jon, with the Republicans.

About the size of his hands:

... but I might not have been paying close enough attention. I sure liked what BC had to say - he was right there.

9. I think Clinton was pissed at the smears on Kerry
Probably reminding him of the hatchet jobs done to him.

If I was him I'd be pissed too, especially (and he even said this) that it's the same group of people who orchestrated both smear attacks.

11. oh, don't get me wrong
I'm pissed at those dumb ass Republicans and the Shifty Boat Vets.

I just never saw this side of BC before.

Guess it has to come out eventually.

10. I thought he seemed to feel comfortable saying what he was saying
Even though it may have been subdued. Clinton was speaking the truth in a way we don't get to hear much these days anywhere except TDS and he took advantage of the opportunity.

13. yeah, Clinton seems way more relaxed
Now that he doesn't have to worry about every word he says getting turned around and used against him politically, he seems more comfortable in interviews giving his opinons.

14. He was like this on Letterman too
He was not his usual happy and outgoing self.

It's like he knows something, but just can't talk about it.

It does seem that something is up with the big dog?

I've been thinking about that. Why would he not?

20. If Clinton cared about that, I don't think he would have gone on the show
I just got the impression he was pissed at the Repukes for their smear tactics, like it brought back bad memories.

21. that was my take....
...on the substance of what he said...i think he was trying to give pointers to the kerry campaign: strike and strike back hard.

the whole interview was weirdly low-key though. like xanax-low. i kept waiting to hear that socks had died or something.
