"John Giles, president of the Christian Coalition of Alabama, said the commission made "a very serious mistake."

"They are trying to take down one of America's finest," Giles said. "We stand with Chief Justice Roy Moore and the majority of the country stands with Chief Justice Roy Moore. This is far from over.""

So in other words, because the majority allegedly agrees with Chief Injustice Moore, the Constitution can be ripped to shreads?

The Constitution says we have freedom of religion, not freedom from religion.

Sure, anything you say.... I read the First Amendent as meaning government cannot favor any religion over another. That you can choose your own religion. And if you can choose your own, you are free not to choose also.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

6. First Amendment

In a sense I think what you say is correct. However, it seems to me more like that the government cannot form a state religion. Also, the implication is there that laws can abridge the establishment of religion (as in, no monument to the 10 commandments), but not speech, etc.

7. Protecting the establishment of...

...meaning, keep the Government out of my CHURCH and my BEDROOM. Those areas are sancrosect, ya know...and keep my CHURCH and my BEDROOM out of the Government. These should not be issues mixed with politics.

To hell with God, he is doing this to worship and honor himself.

And now he acts like he doesn't have to follow the decree of a higher court?

Well, I got a speeding ticket last month, and despite God's objections I still had to pay the $75 like the McHenry County court ordered.
