favorite part of franken's book?
Edited on Sat Aug-23-03 03:16 PM by ann_coulter_is_a_man
for me it's the section in the 1st chapter on ann coulter titled 'how to lie with footnotes'

it's a perfect deconstruction of the way she assembles her columns and misuses sources.

also loved finally hearing al's side of the washington correspondent's dinner story. i actually heard drudge the night he made up the ridiculous story of how many-man brian kilmeade kicked al's ass

1. ....
Haha, that's a great one. "Don't have footnotes." Nice. But my favorite is the "Operation Ignore" chapter.

3. laughed out loud at "thank god for jerry falwell"
And at other points in the book. I was surprised that some parts made me sad and angry too, like the chapter on the Wellstone Memorial.

2. There are too many...
I've been laughing out loud almost constantly...

But I did love the "plug" for his "next book," due in October 2004, called "I Fucking Hate The Right-Wing Motherfuckers."

Sums up my feelings exactly.

7. Oh, poo!!!
I still haven't received my copy from Amazon; should have gotten off my butt and gone to a bookstore, but I can't tear myself away from DU during my free time. "My name is cherryperry and I'm a DUaholic."
