Wow...that was the best!!!! Hannity was saying Kerry said he couldn't think for 40 mins and was in shock as 9/11 was happening and Maher was SCREAMING..."HE WASN'T THE PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!"

with that "flip flopper" argument/nonsense.

Bill ended the segment with: "AT LEAST MY GUY WENT TO WAR AND WASN'T A DRAFT DODGER"!!

Maher will take the storm over the sat. Hannity tried to filibuster - Maher got in his licks.

But Hannity hammered on Kerry's statement about how he would vote the way he did anyway. Combs came back with what Kerry really said.

Sean got a final word by fillibustering but still lied. After Maher said he wouldn't give Kerry a pass on his latest statement, Sean asserted that Maher did give him a pass. Maher shouted that he didn't give Kerry a pass on that. So Sean now lies in front of people about what they said. Doesn't even wait for the next day!

On balance, Sean lost the duel big time.

It's understandable why Hannity is popular with the wing-nuts! He was all over Maher and Maher is going but, but.. He's an excellent GOP attack dog.

but since Hannity never stops flapping his jaws and never listens to anything but the sound of his own voice, he had to have the last word.

Maher made the point that Bush sat on his rear end for 27 minutes while the twin towers crumbled and thousand of people were losing their lives.

To paraphrase:

Hannity: Bush is decisive like a good leader should be!

Maher: But what he decided was wrong! (shakes his head in disbelief)

Hannity: Bush is decisive and strong!

Maher: But, but he made the wrong decisions.

Hannity: Bush is a decisive and strong leader. :boring:

Then Hannity went on and on about Kerry being a flip flopper, etc., and he made a comparison between Kerry and Bush. Reading from something, he said that Kerry was "numb" after the attack and couldn't say anything for forty minutes.

Hannity: (screaming) Where was Kerry after the attack?

Maher: BUT KERRY WASN'T THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF and it's Bush's job to know what to do.

Hannity: But Kerry was a Senator. Blah, blah, blah, Kerry is a flip-flopper, blah, blah. He was a senator so he should have done something.

Maher: But he wasn't president. Bush was so he should have taken action -- immediately.

Maher said he'd rather have a senator like Kerry who ran his boat up on a beach in Vietnam to go after the enemy than Bush who sat in a kiddie's chair with a dazed look on his face after the WORST disaster in the country.

Those are the kinds of details I love!
