How we can win the "War On Terra" issue with voters.
Can't we demonstrate that terrorist recruits are on the rise, thus BUSH is LOSING the war on terror?!

Can't Kerry get some numbers and make this point!?

Discuss.

1. where do we get accurate data
on terrorist recruits? Preferably on like a month to month basis?

I don't know if it is possible to prove this. It would not be accurate to go by attacks--because usually those take place quite some time after recruiting.

3. it can't be proven
and while there may be more recruits to the terrorist trade, they aren't going to Al Qaeda in droves because those assholes are on the lookout for undercover agents trying to infiltrate. Al Qaeda is very cautious with recruiting.

The hatred could probably be proven through polling.

8. I agree. I actually think recruiting
is probably down (every new person is going to be scrutinized so carefully right now. They are not stupid--and they know that we have people trying to infiltrate and entrap.

I like the idea of measuring the hatred--that is just a simple opinion poll--very well established methods exist for that to be done.

2. We've had more terrorist attacks while Shrub was president
around the world

and more Americans were killed on US soil during W's reign than any other time since the Civil War.

Al Qaeda already endorsed Bush back in March.

Foreigners have never hated or feared us the way they do now.

Bush and the Republicans unanimously opposed raising $5,000 each from the richest 2% to inspect all container ships entering our harbors.

He has turned a blind eye to North Korea and Iran.

Our massive trade deficit is funding the Chinese military.

Our dependance on Middle East oil is literally killing us.

He has taken police off the streets. (He thinks we can have homeland security without securing the homeland)

His Department of Homeland Security is beyond useless. We are extremely vulnerable along our coastlines and harbors, not to mention our power, water and chemical facilities.

Nobody respects our President. And I mean NOBODY.

I could go on... :P

10. Yep, yep, yep, yep, and yup.
:hi:

I wish Kerry would start saying some of these things and the media would AIR when he does.

6. War on Terror
Of course, Bush is losing the war on terror, but he is winning very handily his terror and fear campaign to seduce the American people into voting for him! I'm beginning to smell defeat in the air...

What Americans most have to fear is Bush. (But I guess that can't be said publicly.) BUSH IS A FLOP

I think they need to focus on how for 3 1/2 years Bush has had but two items on his agenda: Terrorism and ass-kissing corporate America, with the latter of course being multi factorial.

Maybe if they take a more tangential attack angle and juxtapose the billions spent to fight terror with a population unable to pay their bills, find jobs, obtain quality health care and schools, etc.

Look for Bush to suddenly come up with a roster of economic initiatives..of course too little too late but it may garner votes.

9. They probably have something up their sleeve
like more tax cuts or some bullshit like that. Then they'll support homeland security by cutting emergency personnel and support the troops by cutting their pay and benefits. Then they'll blame it on the Democrats.

Bush is out there telling people that he doesn't show favoritism when it comes to taxes and Kerry will raise their taxes.
