Snopes researches my question

A couple of weeks ago I received an Edwards-bashing e-mail I hadn't seen before, titled "Meet My Neighbor". It was the standard unsigned, undocumented, RW hack job smear. Purportedly written by Edwards' "neighbor", going on about what a bad neighbor Edwards is.

I sent it to Snopes, asking if they had seen it and could they confirm or deny.
This morning I got a nice reply from Barbara Mikkelson at Snopes. She thanked me for my request, they have researched it, and now it's on their website, here:

They basically debunk it.
Snopes is an invaluable tool.

telling him they simply can't compete.

Barbara is a sweetheart, and thoroughly fair--and notice the lack of big-time sponsors on her site

We should all salute her for her efforts.
