Arianna is coming to the Bay Area on Wednesday.
Edited on Sat Aug-23-03 09:19 PM by BEFOREATHOUGHT
As Arianna continues her inspiring campaign to become the first independent, progressive and female governor of the state of California, she is the only prominent candidate raising the need for: comprehensive campaign finance reform, protecting and restoring the environment, taxing the corporations and investing in schools (not jails).

This will be a VERY short campaign. Every opportunity to show your support will make a BIG difference in the media and in Arianna’s heart. So, please come out!

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27
Arianna Speaks at The Commonwealth Club of California!

When: Wednesday, August 27. Check-in is at 11:15 am, Program begins at 12:00pm
Where: The Terrace Room, The Fairmont Hotel,950 Mason St., San Francisco
Why: Arianna will present her budget and economic plan for the state of California
How: This event costs $10 for members of The Commonwealth Club and $20 for non-members. Make reservations! http://www.commonwealthclub.org/featured.html#mazur

Edit- Should I have put this in the Activism forum?

3. Well, unfortunately, I don't live in CA, so can't vote, or "come out"
But I would certainly consider voting for her if I did. I like her a lot. She makes sense in a lot of ways and is a courageous lady. Good luck Arianna!

4. The word "tax" should never come out of her mouth
A gadfly socialite that basically pays no taxes. What a candidate.

6. Atttack her personally because you know she is the best

candidate with right stand on issues. Davis serves the interests of gadfly socialites better than she will. Nothing would ruin Rove's coup attempt like making anticorporate politics legitimate in the US. Neither Davis nor Bisumante will further that objective. Though I admit they won't make things any worse.
