1. I always wonder how much of that
is because they know standing up for Bush would be so unpopular it would invite problems. I once lived in an area where I was a minority. I was afraid to make any political statements publicly. ( I was a lot younger then too )

Obviously it could be because the Kerry supporters are more engaged in this election. But I sure would like to think it is the other reason.

4. If the Kerry supporters are more engaged
that is the good thing. They will be the ones to get out the vote.

2. I live in NorthTexas and I rarely see Bush/Cheney stickers.
I actually saw more Kerry stickers than Bush stickers. And this is supposed to be a Republican town???

As I see it, Texas is in the game...

3. This week, I drove up to Chicago from Tampa-2 days, 1200miles
All told, we saw 3 Bush/Cheney bumper stickers; one in Georgia, one in Tennessee, and one in Indiana.

5. I haven't seen too many stickers of either candidate,
but last time DH and I went out to breakfast there was a car with one of those W04 stickers on his car with two Kerry/Edward sticker cars on either side of him, sort of like a sandwich. I wonder if it was deliberate. :-)

Saw 2 Kerry stickers, a yard sign and a window sign. All day long I was like, wohoo, John Kerry! NO Bush/Cheney anywhere. In 2000, it was Bush/Cheney on every corner. No way Oregon is going to the shrub and I don't live in a liberal area either.

Oh, and our trucks in the shop waiting for parts, with the John Kerry sticker smack on the back of the tailgate. I'm starting to think the mechanics are keeping it around just to piss off the boss!! At least I can feel good about all the people seeing my John Kerry sticker every day!
