How many americans died on 9/11
Pundits always shoot out 3000
when the actual number was closer to 2700
many nations lost citizens on 9/11 they werent all americans.
I wonder how many actual American citizens died on sept 11.

2. i understand the distinction you're making, but i don't see your point
i mean, so what if 100 or 200 or 3000 turned out to have green cards, work visas, tourist visas, or no documentation at all?

it happened in the city i work in, to a building i've commuted through, to a building i've sought jobs in, to a building from which i used to work across the street, to a building my brother used to work in (prior to 9/11/01).

is the citizenship status of the dead really relevant?

if it had happened on foreign soil, then yes, that would make something of a difference. but in the heart of manhattan, it doesn't matter.

3. in only matters in the sense that it is inacurate to say
3000 americans died on 9/11 via terrorism.
Each life lost on that day is important ..Somebody loved them!
We lost 937+ troops in Iraq so far..At least thats all that they admitted to so far.
Its important for our media to tell us how many American troops died in Iraq but not the total of all coalition wink wink soldiers who lost thier lives.

So I Question Why is it important to have an exact Usa only soldier death count and not a Usa citizen only death count on 9/11 that had nothing to do with 9/11.

It sound insensitive i know but inquiring minds wanna know
