Does anybody know the national breakdown of voter registration?

Based on the 2000 vote and all the alienation since by this maladministration it is inconceivable that this is even a "race".

Please post breakdown if it is out there!! Thanks.

1. somewhat meaningless excercise

unfortunately alot of the lists have names with outdated addresses, deceased voters, etc. and many registered voters just don't vote. So you'll see states with huge Democratic advantages in registration for us, but then you scratch your head wondering why the GOP runs everything.

a google search will provide alot of interesting data and maybe a site like mydd.com might have just such a list of "official" reg breakdown but don't drive yourself nuts trying to figure out why LA is a solid red state even though we have a big reg. advantage, etc.

I understand your comments and appreciate your insight as well. I still believe however that there is some merit to this exercise based on what will surely be a large voter turnout this Nov. 2nd.

Perhaps if we had the actuaries do the numbers we will have empirical data to refute any claims of a close diebolded * victory.

3. alot of accusations will fly this election

don't be surprised to hear...
I saw a guy vote twice
I saw illegal aliens vote
I went to vote and they said I wasn't registered even though I showed them my card
I was at the wrong precint and nobody could them where I was supposed to go
the voter sheet said I voted by mail when I didn't

the seeds are being sewn for a disputed election by Bush so that they can turn to the Kerry camp and say you guys are trying to cheat when all the while, the Bush camp will be cheating their ass off during the count.
