I think it's a sign of how seriously they're screwed right now. The Bushies can't just beat their chests anymore--they have to offer up "reasons" for why we're getting our asses kicked.

geez..maybe the kid in Fayette County PA who got his leg blown off and was blinded over there can rest easy. (by the way he got wounded trying to defuse bomblets that we dropped...it was to help prevent Iraqi kids from getting killed...)
not that it matters. I am sure whoever was "interviewing" him had no follow up question for that whopper. It would really be nice to see these liars and bullshitters have to actually define and defend their insane ramblings.
It was George S who interviewed him, so no follow-up that I recall. Then again I was sort of reeling from shock at the statement that I just heard, so I pretty much tuned out the rest of the interview.
