2. An excellent idea! All through the convention, too!
There was one wingnut in Boston who kept holding up a bush/cheney sign behind Chris Matthews and Ron Reagan and others on their outdoor panel during the Democratic Convention. It was TRULY annoying. Let's turn the tables. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I were there.

For about a week or two after that thread, CNN and FOX had VERY VISIBLE security guards by the windows occasionally shooing away the usual goofballs who jump up and down back there.

12. Do you know if there is another group in NYC
that might have already organized this? It seems like an opportune time to get a media protest going.

Maybe I'll do some research on it this weekend. Counterconvention might be up to something.
