Republicans Blackball Hardball!
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/issue/040830/whispers/30whisplead.htm
Blackball
You might notice something missing from Hardball With Chris Matthews soon: Republicans. "Hardball may seem more like badminton during the Republican National Convention," threatens a GOP insider. What's up? The GOP thinks Matthews has gone over to Sen. John Kerry 's side and is too critical of the Bush campaign's editing of a Hardball interview with Kerry posted on the party's negative site, www.kerryoniraq.com. As payback, they've stopped urging Republicans to appear on the show. Hardball executive producer Tammy Haddad dismisses charges Matthews is biased: "We beat everybody up." So far, nobody from the White House has told her of the show's being blackballed.

5. This may help Hardball's ratings.
I found "Donahue" hard to take when they had on too many rightwing bullshitters.

2. Remember how successfully they boycotted "Crossfire"?
Of course not ... because it wasn't successful.

In case you forgot about the right's whining, here's a little reminder:

3. Nothing helps a show's ratings like announcing that Bob Dole
or Bush pollster Matthew Dowd is coming up after the break.

How will they manage?

THANK YOU! Now maybe we can see some quality TV. These people remind me of the kid who takes his ball and goes home because he isn't selected for the team. Go on home then. Who needs you?

There's NOTHING I would enjoy more than watching Harball during the RNC and have ONLY Democrats on the show to beat the living shit out of the speakers! Good job, you whiny ass repukes! Cut off your nose to spite your face.....awesome!

I wonder if Chris will now go back to his old ways? Tune in Monday to find out.

9. This strikes at the heart of what is happening in the media!
Someone here yesterday posted on a subject where they have a friend that works for a major newspaper ( i think that is what it was ). Well, they relayed info that within the news world shrub and his cronies are despised for how they are treating journalists. They stated that the white house constantly phones in saying they will avoid all contact with their paper if they feel the stories are negative against the shrub.

Sorry no search feature for me yet. You will have to find the post on your own and there is a chance I got few things out of context but you get the idea!

25. No he won't
He doesn't have the guts. In fact, his cable news organization wouldn't allow it. I'm surprised they let him have as much freedom lately as he's had. I expect his newfound objectivity to come to a screeching halt.

16. Remember when Congress blackballed Crossfire?
Finally there was a program where they were the ones getting beat up. Ultimately, they just couldn't stay away from a program where there were no opposing voices to Dem views.

That is how the republicans behave. You can bet that this might get a few more media people up in arms.

24. So have they just given up on reaching out to non-Republicans?
They don't let non-supporters near the resident during his speeches, they won't go on shows that don't already cater to Repubicans. Do they really think their base is so big that they can win without even trying to court the middle?

27. Neo Fascists.
They will brook no dissent!

Another term for the Neo Fascists will bring a Police State with a Right Wing Supreme Court that will dismantle The Constitution and The Bill of Rights, the abolishment of the CIA and in it's place a Natl. Gestapo and Patriot Act 3 which will consider any dissenters as enemy combatents.

Waaaaaaa...tha' big bully Chris beat me up. Waaaaa.

What a bunch of puss*es. Repukes are like all blow-hard bullies...punch them in the nose and they drop to the ground crying their eyes out.

Here's the NEW MEME for dems and others calling out the Repukes. Call them "COWARDS" or say something to the effect "BE A MAN" when they refuse to enter into fair debate.
