CNN poll "Would you lose your job to heckle someone?"
I would lose my job to heckle Bush Jr and his regime members. Fortunately I work for a yellow dog Democrat but unfortunately I haven't had the chance to show Bush my personal feelings.

Graphic designer fired after heckling Bush

By JOHN RABY
Associated Press Writer

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A man who heckled President Bush at a political rally was fired from his job at an advertising and design company for offending a client who provided tickets to the event.

The fired graphic designer said Saturday he won't try to get his job back.

"I'm mad less about losing the job - I'm more mad about the reasons," said Glen Hiller, 35, of Berkeley Springs. "All I did was show up and voice my opinion."

4. They'd better have a better
reason to fire me than that! This is still the United States of America, at least until SMIRK steals the next election; you may not like what I say, but, God damn it, it's still my freedom of speech, just as it is YOUR freedom of speech!

2. I thought this was supposed to be the land of the free
64% would not risk it, what a shame.

6. That's what they used to tell me
in Civics class, but nowadays, I wouldn't bet on that too much longer; if SMIRK wins (steals) again, all of us on this site, and other sites like it, are all in the soup, because they WILL come for us, declaring us "terrists"!

7. What a topsy turvy place America has become
when the first amendment does not protect the right of a person to express his/her opinion at a rally, but

DOES protect the right of swiftboat jerks to LIE their asses off in print and on TV.

8. It is clear that none of their "journalists" would risk their jobs at CNN.
Every day is another day to praise their glorious leader: W!

9. I voted yes but I work for our family ranch and the other 2 partners are
my bush hating daughters so I would probably get to give myself a raise (need a better economy before that can happen). Life would be different if I were a main bread winner in an outside the family job situation.

12. So the question is
would you be willing to become homeless, hungry, and poor to express your opinion? Would you be willing to take food out of your childs mouth to have a say in how society works?

If everyone says yes, then we're ok. By everyone I mean the mass of humanity that works for a living.

You have to admit, they're good at what they do. They know how to use their power. You have this incident with the man losing his job. You have the overall outsourcing game, where they don't even have to send every job to a 3rd world country. Just send a handful, threaten to send the rest somewhere, and all of a sudden you have a vey quiet workforce.

It's more than Bush. It's more than PNAC. It's the whole power game. These are dangerous people.

13. Bush is 100% a TV campaign
Hecklers who spoil the shot are not members of the cast and are in fact trespassing. Seriously, this article itself intimidates dissent, this poll is slanted to make you consider the fear within yourself, the personal stakes. It seems slanted to put the readers on the defensive and into fear.In no way does it say what Il Duce is doing is criminal and those who punish on his behalf likewise.

14. Same here
my boss can't stand Bush, and I know I could say anything to the Shrub and get a pat on the back. However, if my boss were a Repuke, I'd still do it, because that is my Constitutional right.
