What I wish a left-wing plant would do at the RNC convention
As Cheney is delivering his acceptance speech during a moment when he's taking a pause and the audience isn't applauding, scream at the top of your lungs "GO FUCK YOURSELF!".

Man, wouldn't that be the bomb? If only some person had gotten himself elected as a delagate to that. From a swingstate so he's or she is right near the podium.

1. Dumping 10,000 one dollar bills from the ceiling...

...would probably provide much better theater. Especially if the networks were broadcasting at the time.

on edit: IIRC, Abbie did it with $5 dollar bills at the stock exchange. Perhaps those would be better.

2. I don't get it.
Not only would that be impossible, I don't understand how that makes them look bad. It must be something "deep"

3. well I think
what htuttle means is that all of the people there would go apeshit over the falling money and just look really stupid and greedy, which reminds me of that skit SNL did where they had Oprah giving away gifts and the women in the audience were going insane, culminating in the explosion of one woman's head

4. Ok, but I suggested something that would be pretty damn feasable

all you would have had to do is find a person who really has sort of a deviant combined with committed personality, who's willing to be sort of a footnote in history for doing something like that. Someone who could stand to benefit from their minor celebrity like a website retailer or a musician or something.

5. Abbie Hoffman did it at the Stock Exchange in 1967
The traders caused such a ruckas scrambling for the cash that they had to shut the exchange down for awhile (he used a lot less than 10,000 bills, though).

Then again, given our current reality show culture, perhaps it would have the opposite effect.
