I love the smell of vastness in the morning.

Both the NYT and WP describe the march on Sunday as "vast." This ultimately matters more than the actual head count, as does the front-page NYT picture of protestors filling the streets, with a gigantic circular "no Bush" sign prominently displayed.

Thanks to everyone who went out there to be vast. I was not able to get there due to scheduling problems, but I'm glad so many of you were.
