From NY Daily News gossip guy:

"Talk about a power dinner. Rush Limbaugh, Peggy Noonan and Matt Drudge - Republican sympathizers all - hosted a glittering affair at Patsy's last night, headlined by Vice President Dick Cheney and wife Lynne...A restaurant source told me that a surprised guest was CNN anchor Daryn Kagan, who I hear is friendly with recently separated fellow broadcaster Limbaugh."

that's the only explanation I can produce to explain why she'd go for Rush.

And maybe it explains why she's a Republican. Low self esteem could cause her to be aligned with the party which ridicules people to make themselves happier. Low self esteem causes spoon-fed Republicans to be jealous of anyone who can think for themself. Low self esteem is why their rabble characterizes Democrats as "elitist" intellectuals.

Letterman showed the kid falling asleep at a Bush speech.

Daryn said the kid was never there, that Letterman's people had electronically added the kid to the video.

Then she admitted she made up the excuse. Then she admitted the White House made it up. But then she never said who at the White House made it up.

CNN needs to get rid of her. She sucks as an anchor. When she was paired up with Leon Harris, he so far outshone her that it was almost laughable.

Maybe she figures being Rush's beard is better than working for a living.

Not to be sexist but when she first appeared on ESPN...she was horrendously ugly...a huge nose...poor complexion...bad teeth...terrible hair...

She has had A LOT of work done...she looks almost NOTHING like she did when she first started in broadcasting...

I think she moved over to cable news as a sports person first. Later as a news anchor...
