Need Help from Dem Conv. "Tweety" watchers: What was his "line up"
when he reported on the Dem Convention every night. Why do I ask? Because tonight he has Christie Whitman, Laura Ingham, Howard Fineman, Liddy Dole, Pat Buchanan.

This is a Repug Lineup. I thought that during the Dem Convention he had Repugs on as a "counterpoint." but I didn't watch enough of him to know.

Shouldn't he have all Dems to counter the Repugs tonight in the interest of "fair and balanced" journalism? I don't want to criticize him if he had all Dems on during the Dem Convention though. I want to be "fair and balanced" to "Tweety" (Chris Matthews) just in case I'm over-reacting here.

1. I don't know if I can name them all, but
he had Buchanan, Fineman, Ron Reagan Jr.(I think), the Dems changed several times each night I think. I do remember ONE he gave a really hard time to, and of course that was Al Sharpton.

2. I didn't watch too much Tweety coverage last time.
But, when I did turn over to there, he had mostly repugs with maybe one Democrat.

His lineup better change by 8:00 pm to mostly Dems and one repug.

sometimes joe trippi but the first 3 were the ones i think he had on consistently

i know everyone here cannot wait to hear laura ingraham and elizabeth dole nonstop i dont know which is worse but i did love when dole was on chris' show and she was knifing edwards in the back after he was chosen as the vp, and chris says like only he can, you are from the south! putting the knife in his side while youre smiling the whole time!

or something like that and its sooo true. this woman speaks rnc talking points verbatim that is her native language now apparently

7. Liddy Dole has had a bad "face lift" job...and her hair is not good...I
remember her when she looked "real." She doesn't look "real" anymore.

What's with Liddy and Bob...they seem to be really into all kinds of stuff...afraid that in DC they will "lose their power" if they appear...gasp...! gasp...! getting OLDER?

If they can afford what they seem to be able to do to "enhance themselves" and yet little kids can't get health care and people are dying because they can't afford insurance, it does seem a little strange that Chris is showing off the products of wealth..to us "ordinary folks."

9. He's on 4 hours or something tonight. I turned him off. Is it better than
when I posted? Different lineup? All Dem this round?

10. I turned him off, too.
And I generally have a high tolerance level.

What's on my television now? The Food Network!
