my response to the 'they don't fund the military' junk..

I've encountered this response from conservatives a lot, and after listening to that son of a bitch Zell Miller tonight I thought I'd pass it on in case some of you could use it. It seems to work for me.

I always tell em that if you're worried about your neighbor it makes good sense to build some walls and doors and maybe even to put locks on the doors and buy a dog. If you're still worried I can see maybe putting some bars on the windows and buying a gun and hiring a bodygaurd and building a fence. If you see him as a real genuine threat I could maybe see even a few helicopters and a small militia. However, when you start blowing up the neighbors because they 'might' be a threat, and your roof is leaking cause you've spent all your money on landmines and weaponry, chances are it's not about the threat, it's about the fact that you've gone insane and someone needs to intervene for you.
