2. Malloy is saying this?
Damn, I didn't watch it, but Zell must have really screwed up.

Unfortunately, 61% of the population isn't watching.

3. If John Kerry is the man I believe he is
If he is the man I believe him to be he will come out tomorrow with guns blazing and make a powerful statement about this Republican hate-fest we saw tonight. I have watched conventions for 48 years and I have never seen anything as off the chart hateful as Miller's performance tonight. His interview with Matthews afterward exposed him for what the hate-filled lunatic he really is. I hope to God that someone in the leadership of the Democratic Party makes a statement tomorrow disassociating the Party from him. If Daschle has any balls he will publicly humiliate Miller by officially asking him to leave the Party. Tonight I hope the Democrats learned a lesson. Nice guys finish last. Especially in politics.

5. WOW. I do think they stepped in it tonight.
They gave the media something so simple and stereotypical, they might actually talk about it. Zell Miller gave them a repeat of Buchanan's disastrous '92 speech.

6. So how long until Republicans start saying he was a plant?
Perhaps he unwittingly did the Democratic Party one last big favor.
