O'Reilley - "Here's a bulletin for you Bush haters"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,131259,00.html
"These protesters are not helping John Kerry. Most Americans loathe their beliefs and resent their presentation in a time of war."

"And then there are the anti-Bush protesters here in New York City. While most of these people have been peaceful, more than 1,000 have been arrested. And surveys show many protesters are simply loons, calling for the destruction of the American system, calling for retreat in the face of terrorism."

Yeah Bill - you're not a neocon schill! :eyes:

18. Well, "surveys" prove that you are
WTF is Billy talking about? Have you ever heard of a survey that asks, "Are protesters loons?"

And how many Americans really think this is a "time of war?" Now that the US body count has been relegated to the back page of the classified ads in just about every newspaper in the country, how many people are actually walking around thinking, "Yes, this is a time of war, America is under seige, no room for dissent, loose lips sink ships!"

What planet is this guy on?

:wtf:

3. He is too delusional to take seriously. Thinks he tanked France's
economy with his boycott. I don't think Bush is the only one behaving like a dry drunk.

25. It's true! They survey people on the Republican mailing list...
...out in Texas and other "red states" and ask them if they think protesters in New York are fringe-group loons, BEFORE the actual protest march, when all the buzz was about "violent protests".

Volia! Survey says: Protesters are fringe-group loons!

Has any basis in any reality that effects me. I would sooner listen to a gibbering, alcohol-psychotic wino than that man.

Because I know that the wino is at least being honest about his ramblings. And makes more sense.

8. Why does Bill O'LyingAss insist on telling me what to think

I have a brain and contrary to most of the loyal viewers of your show, shit-for-brains, I like to use my brain to intake information and determine for myself if "This is Good" or "This is Bad"

:grr:

I question the IQ of anyone who watches this show because these were probably not the kids in school who were leading but teetering behind the leader hoping someone would tell them what to think!

10. If by loon he means
the beautiful birds of Upper Midwest, Canadian and Alaskan lakes whose haunting songs draw visitors from around the world, then I'm in.

http://www.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/notebook/bird/loons.php
<snip>
Loons are known as “spirits of the wilderness,” and it is fitting that Alaska has all five species of loons found in the world. Loons are an integral part of Alaska's wilderness—a living symbol of Alaska's clean water and high level of environmental quality. Loons, especially common loons, are most famous for their call. The cry of a loon piercing the summer twilight is one of the most thrilling sounds of nature. The sight or sound of one of these birds in Alaskan waters gives a special meaning to many, as if it were certifying the surrounding as a truly wild place.

27. Shut Up and O'Reilly
Just watched "Outfoxed" last night. In it the lying POS O'Reilly (but I repeat myself) had the nerve to tell a viewer who protested his telling people to shut up that it had only happened once. "Outfoxed" then showed clip after clip of the slimy weasel saying and/or telling people to shut up.

12. SHADDUP!
The protestors were not trying to help John Kerry--they are regular Americans exercising the right to protest against their government's heinous policies. They are a microcosm of America, not some distinct, separate entity. 1,000 out of perhaps a million were arrested. What is that? .0001% or something? O'Reilly hates them for exercising their freedoms. The right to protest against our own government is the very foundation of the 'American system'. O'Reilly, you are an anti-American prick.

13. What Bill overlooks:
The Constitution of the United States gives specific protection to those who elect to gather to protest the policies of their elected officials. Why does the Constitution protect this form of protest? Simple, Bill: because the framers of the Constitution recognized that not only was this form of protest a healthy part of democracy, but even more because they knew that the enemies of Constitutional Democracy would try to discourage -- or even outlaw -- this form of protest.

The man who represents the conscience of the non-violent movement in America, Martin LutherKing, Jr., was likewise arrested many times. He served time in jail for his beliefs. He scared people like Bull Connor, who was the Bill O'Reilly with a badge of his times. The Bull-Bill O'Wrongs among us do not grasp the Constitution ..... and that is why the founders of the nation included the Bill of Rights

Now that's a crime!. The under reported story are the arrests by an overactive police. Many of the people never should have been arrested.

21. The Ivory Towers Are Spooked...The Barbarians At The Gates
It can't be underestimated how freaked out the media got with the demonstration in their backyard last Sunday and the subsequent events during the week.

Certainly O'Liely was pissed and his ego bruised when he saw all those people on the streets yelling "Faux News Sucks". They saw pickets outside their windows and watching Faux's coverage lately, it's been either brazen GOP shilling or done with a bunker mentality. But I saw the same crap going on at CNNservative.

Seems like a pissing match has broken out between CNN and many on our side...the more we bitch the more right turning they become. We bitch about Chipmunk Gillespie being put on right after Kerry spoke and they relent to put McAullife on, but you could hear the stop watch ticking and he was interupted several times...losing point, where Gillespie motor-boated his talking points without any question.

I expect more resentment that will hamper Kerry's message due to this. It's a pissing match of ego...and has nothing to do with "journalism", truth or the best interests of the country. The media appears to be the story of this election...determining which issues are "discussed" and ignoring the serious ones. It's a shameful time.

23. Yeah, over a thousand arrested for execising the freedoms we give Iraq?
That's really great, isn't it. Just like Iraq under Saddam, Bush will the Bush supporters who run the states and cities will have you arrested if you dare to protest. Seems to me we don't need to "spread decmocracy" such as this; it's been in existence with every puppet government we ever supported, including Saddam's which we also supported.

24. Puh-leeze!
Bill, who's actually called for "retreat in the face of terrorism?" Who actually said this? Or anything like it?

What people have been shouting from the roof-tops is that there's a better way to go about it without pissing off allies and potential allies. And perhaps by addressing the root causes of terrorism - crushing poverty, lack of democratic outlets (none really), sharp inequality of wealth - maybe real, substantive gains can be made and the world safer.

Bill, how about removing your lips from Bush's* ass and letting a little light in, eh?

29. Ooh! Liver-Spot Bill doesn't like protests!!
Of course, growing up poor in suburban Long Island where Daddy never made more than $35,000 in the early 1970s ensured that O'Reilly would never lose touch with his blue-collar roots, and that he'd keep his finger on the pulse of what real Americans really believe, and . . .

Oh, what's the use? Go fuck yourself, you naughty, spotty little man!

32. But...........

O'Reilly said he never defends Bush, you mean he was lying to us ?

After spending 20 minutes defending Bush in the Krugman/O'Reilly debate O'Reilly said but I am not defending Bush.

Yet he said if we go into Iraq and there are no WMD's he will never trust the Bush administration again. So not only does he still trust them, he is constantly defending them.
