"Zell on Earth" - Daily Show
I posted a thread about this last night. Wasn't it great? Fantastic. I loved how they ripped Zell. I was watching it with my college dorm floor - we were all rolling on the floor in laughter. I especially loved Stewart impersonating a viscious bird of prey following a clip of Zell's scowling and hissing and I also loved when, following Zell's statement of "The country is being ripped apart by the Democrats manic obsession to bring down our commander-in-chief," Stewart said, in a mock Southern accent, "How DARE the Democrats field a candidate for president in an election year! How DARE they!"

That doesn't even cover all the laughs. It was a nonstop laughfest from beginning to end.

I also loved the previous day's show when he poked fun at Arnold's speech. When Arnold said that economic pessimists were "economic girlie men," Stewart responded in mock-Schwarzennegger accent, "To the 1.5 million of you who have lost jobs these past four years, go suck some cock, faggots."

Also, when Arnold said that "hearing Nixon speak was a breath of fresh air," Stewart looked incredulous and was like "What?! Nixon?! Breath of fresh air?!... Well, I guess that when the land you come from was the birthplace of Adolph Hitler then maybe Richard Nixon sounded like a breath of fresh air."

Jon Stewart is a fucking genius.

1. No, I think the Republicans are a bunch of morons and it doesn't
take a genius to see how ridiculous they are with every silly word they spew. Rove-er had it right when he said, when you get smart you go Democrat.

7. It takes genius to deliver the truth in such a masterful way...
..Jon Stewart's genius is not in his ability to understand reality, but in his ability to turn it into comedy that still has a sting, and yet is palatable by so many all across the spectrum.

His genius is comedic. My republican family thinks Stewart is hilarious, and I can promise that some of his shows have forced them to think, when they wouldn't be likely to listen to a different source.

Anyone can understand that the republican party is moronic. But not everyone can be as funny about it as Stewart is.

3. His writers are just awesome
John Stewart only gets better as he goes. I was rolling in the floor laughing hysterically over that show. I had to tape it and watch it this morning and I'm so glad I did.

I can't wait to see tonight's show!

9. It was great!
And then McCain came on and completely distanced himself from the speech calling it "interesting" with a smirk on his face.
