they went into Baghdad with no frigging (my word-not his) plan.
That if he was a platoon leader and went into an engagement with no exit strategy, he would be fired. That he never saw any coalition forces. That no foreign forces want to go into Iraq without a guaranteed share of reconstruction profits. Why would they. . .?

Halliburton hangs out swimming in the pools at the palaces of the Green Zone with all the amenities. Rarely provide decent food to the troops.

You know. . .the usual.

He's very articulate and passionate. Worth a listen.

9. Totally unprepared, soldiers had no body armor if you were a reservist
no one spoke Arabic. They couldn't communicate with anyone, there was absolutely no plan, no one knew what the culture was, what the landscape was, they were told nothing about the country. He just gave a website, but I didn't catch it. Anyone? He gone now.
