I personally don't think so. Now that the hate-fest is over, we're back to the horrible reality of what Bush has done to our world. Steady drip, drip, drip of casualties in Iraq...Job losses, gas prices, falling wages, falling dollar, falling stocks...(dow down 30 pts today).

What do you think?

3. It's an outlier poll.
All other polls have them running neck in neck.

4. of course. how can it not be?
Moderate, muddle of the roadies will see no bounce for the good guy and a major bounce for the prince of darkness. those who are stupid like to go with a whiner. or however it is spelled.

5. Single poll not consistent with the other poll out (Zogby)
So, until more polls come out, it may be nothing more than a meaningless outlier or it may reflect some trend since the convention that we'll have to address. Frankly, I'm willing to bet it is just an outlier and that Bush has no more than a few points bump. We shall see.

9. The bump is probably in the red states
The bulk of any rise in Bush's ratings likely came in Texas, the deep south, and other non-competitive states.

I suspect Bush got a slight bump, which will dissipate in a week or so.

6. Well, when the real bounce is figured out of maybe 5 points it may
look disappointing after this crazy poll.

The * campaign and almost all of the news channels have dissed this poll already. So when the real numbers come out we can talk about how far he has fallen so quickly.

11. It's not real.
This is an artifical construct based on selective sampling. There is no Bush lead... unless you consider who's first in line to go to Hades.

15. I figure that because the country is so divided, that after all the dust
settles, neither candidate will see a "real" bounce...
