How Much Blood?

From Michael Moore's new USA today article

"And there were the Band-Aids. The worst display of how out of touch the Republicans are was those Purple Heart Band-Aids the delegates wore to mock Kerry over his war wounds, which, for them, did not spill the required amount of blood."

For the Republicans to be satisfied, the amount that must be spilled is equal to that drawn during crucifixion. Otherwise, it is beneath their notice.

1. Repug Fundies don't respond to blood until it reaches the gallonesque

quantities seen in The Passion of the Christ. It has to pour out and spray all over the place as seen throughout the movie. Then they are able to baptismally immerse themselves in it and be "one with God".
