I would like to start a new meme on Bush and the Republicans.

BUSH HAS STARTED A WAR AGAINST OUR SOLDIERS.
List all the things that he has done to hurt the soldiers and their families.

BUSH HAS DECLARED A WAR ON OUR ELDERLY
List evrything that makes their life more and more difficult.

BUSH HAS DECLARED WAR ON OUR MIDDLECLASS

List everything that he has done to make their lives insecure.

BUSH HAS DECLARED WAR ON OUR CHILDREN

LIst all the programs he has gutted.

YES< BUSH IS A WAR PRESIDENT.HIS WARS ARE AGAINST OUR PEOPLE!

Finally there is the issue of hate and lies. Hate. I think not. President Bush has done more in four years to help find a cure for aids and provide humanitarian aid to Africa than any president since the AIDS epidemic begun.

Making a promise and actually following through on your word are two entirely different things. When the chimp says he always keeps his words, we have to hit back hard: NYC STILL has not received the funds promised for rebuilding after 9/11 and their ridiculous hate-fest just cost us another $350 million. After promising $17 billion for AIDS relief in Africa, less than $15 million has been released. Even the money that was promised was to go to American pharmeceutical companies (undiscounted drugs) and abstinence programs (downplay condom use for prevention). A real policy would help. Broken promises do not.

The chimpministration keeps saying "the world knows we keep our word." This is not true. We follow through on threats but break our promises.

I think since so many americans are heartless, the memes listed that rely on compassion will not be as effective as the selfinterest one: middle class.

Me, i would rename our dem party as "the middle class party".

Bizzarly, i read that many see the dems as only for the poor, and against the middle.. wanting to steal tax money from the middle, to give it to the poor.

PS nothing at all wrong with the word meme IMHO. As for #1, rhetoric being useless, then GOOD. In parallel fashion, all RW rhetoric will fall flat , too. LOL. "useless" is bunk. Rhetoric is the key. We must sharpen our rhetoric.
