(More) Evidence that Ann Coulter has had a Lobotomy
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 06:20 AM by ck4829
"The Republican Party is the party of life," columnist Ann Coulter told Republican National Coalition for Life members gathered at a New York City luncheon. "The Democratic Party is the party of violating the Ten Commandments. Therefore, murder, abortion; therefore, lying, which everybody does; therefore, adultery, which everybody also does and they have to lie about it....God help us if the Democratic Party ever abandons its three major planks: abortion, gay marriage and banning the Boy Scouts."

Who has been blowing up innocent Iraqi and Afghan children?
Who has lied to us about Iraq?
Whose Administration has fleeced America again and again?
Who has had 'God' tell him to blow things up?
Who is at the head of the wealthiest and greediest Administration in history?

But the Twit Twins, they honored their mother and father, right? Oh, well, yeah, on second thought ...

Aw, forget it ... She is nuts!

5. Speaking of counting...
I was watching CNN the other night and there was a report by Walter Rodgers about the day's violence in Iraq. He said, "It was an extraordinarily bloody Saturday in Iraq. If you're counting, the number of Iraqis killed was over 50."

If you're counting?

If you're counting?

Maybe if more people "counted" (in both senses of the term) there'd be more opposition in the U.S. to this insane vanity war.

11. Welcome to DU, Eurotrash...
I guess to the trained lizards at CNN, dead Iraqis are just collateral damage. What a sick attitude - first we invade and occupy them in order to secure their oil, then our media dehumanizes them. Maybe we're supposed to see them as villains in video games: You get points for destroying them.

8. WTF is she trying to say?
This is only the second time I've ever read anything she has written and I don't understand the point she's trying to make. Lying and adultery is okay as long as it's Republicans doing it? Abortion, gay marriage and the Boy Scouts aren't addressed in the ten commandments.

12. Ann Coulter Rocks!
Go Ann! Love ya Girl!

I just love Ann Coulter. There is a Republican who isn't afraid to say what people like Colin Powell and Judy Barr Topinka think.

17. I'm Joking And I'm Not Joking
The Republican party, when it suits their purposes, sends out Trojan Horses; people like Colin Powell, Judy Barr Topinka, Olympia Snowe, Lincoln Chaffee and George Pataki. These are people who can put up a facade of a sane and moderate politician. However, hiding inside them are the evil and fanatical people who represent the true nature of the Republican party.

With Ann Coulter you know exactly what she thinks of you. You know exactly what the Republican party stands for. Ann Coulter is the best friend a Democrat ever had.

20. I think he's right
Look at the people they sent out at the RNC.

Did we see Frist? Did we see DeLay? Ashcroft? Ridge? Oh hell no! We saw Schwarzenegger, who the diehard religious right is still trying to get rid of. We saw lots of moderate people. We saw one shithouse rat, but that guy claims to be a Democrat.

Coulter is the true face of the GOP and they can't hide the bitch because she keeps showing up on whore television, writing those crappy books, publishing screeds in the newspaper.

We should all bow down to Coulter because when someone claims that the GOP is the party of love and tolerance, we can hold up Danny's face and say "no, this is what the GOP is, and there are thousands more just like her. If the GOP is tolerant and loving, then so is Osama bin Laden."

21. I agree. She is the true GOP. She also illustrates a major political
strategy difference between the parties. If she was a democrat making her outrageous statements, the GOP would spend hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of man-hours convincing people that she represented the main stream of the democratic party. But the democratic party insists on portraying Coulter as an extremist, rather than a mainstream, republican.

If the republican party lost either 10-15% of its moderate members or 10-15% of its extremist members, it no longer would be competitive nationally and in many, though not all, States. The democratic party needs to realize that it needs to strip the moderate republicans out of the republican party. Otherwise the Reich wing extremists like Coulter will just continue to gain in power and influence in this country.

16. what the fuck are you talking about
"what judy barr topinka think"...how do you know how she thinks? from all indications she loathes the whole extreme right wing of the illinois republicans and objected to keyes but must have figured that since she is stepping down this year she wasn`t going to get into the republican war next year here in illinois...so just what the fuck are you talking about???

The "extreme right wing" is the Republican party. Look at everything that Ann Coulter has said over the years. Point me to one Republican who has denounced her. Who has stated that she is nothing but a publicity hound who has no home in the Republican party? On the contrary, they snatch up her books by the thousands and turn out in droves to pay triple digit admission fees to hear her speak. They all love her because she has the balls to say what they think.

18. From what I hear, Coulter knows her stuff on breaking the 10 Commandments
It's weird that an unmarried, miniskirted party girl, known in social circles for her drinking and playing around with men who are -- ever wonder why Whorealdo got divorced? -- should be presenting herself as the Mother Teresa of wholesome, family values.
