The truth about the Not-So-Swifties, after having the undeniable evidence presented to them, is then not worth dealing with on the subject. They either have a severe cognitive or mental handicap or they have such a burning coal of hatred in their guts that further interaction is going to be outside of the talent set of the layman.

Better to refer to trained professionals in the psychological care and treatment field.

is itchin' for a fight around here. One of Kerry's crewmates lives in Huntsville, another in N. Little Rock. So far, I've not heard ANYONE around here who has questioned their veracity.

Bush's AWOL is old news and Kerry won't answer his critics..which is like saying 'when did you stop beating your wife'..it doesnt matter how much info you give them..I think they filter out what they dont want to know

and I was not drafted. Many of my friends did serve, however, and they are about 50-50 Kerry versus Bush. One guy who saw a lot of action and suffered tremendous post war traumatic stress puzzles me completely by his support for the deserter but his reasoning goes something like this - Kerry has wrapped himself in the flag and that was a big mistake because he betrayed the Vietnam vets when he spoke out against the war. When I point out that Kerry actually volunteered and risked his life, he simply says so did a lot of us but we don't go around bragging about it. This guy always votes Repub (although he claims he is independent), claiming it is for economic reasons. The fact of the matter is he spends all day listening to Bill O'Reilly and Fox news and he thinks they speak the gospel. It is always discouraging to me to talk to him - he is an intelligent guy but he just parrots the latest Repub talking points and nothing I say (or any of the rest of us say) ever breaks through. I think there is some latent racism in there also, even though he is married to a Hispanic lady.

The thing is, if the truth had much to do with elections there wouldn't be any Repubs in office.
