A Repug explains the difference between his "party" and Democrats!

I found this little gem on another message board. An 18 year old girl wanted to know the difference between repugs and Dems.
This is what some nazi repug wrote:


"A Republican - Tend to be more mature people. They are generally for the death penatly. They are against the killing of babies. They believe they should be able to keep the money they worked hard to earn. They believe that you should be able to own a gun to protect your house and family. They are strong on military defense. They believe the borders should be secure and immigrants monitored and checked and don't believe they should be catered to out of tax payer money (welfare, WIC, bilingual education, etc.). They believe in lower taxes, you keep the money you make. They don't favor people sitting around on welfare and don't support rewarding people for having children out of wedlock by giving them welfare (which is why the unwed birth rate of blacks has climbed to 70%). They think people should learn to help themselves and get off their lazy unmotivated behinds. They believe that minorities don't need help to achieve things, the believe they are just as smart as everyone else and can do it without help. They believe in traditional institutions. They are tough on crime. They believe in free enterprise. They believe in the foundation for which this country was founded. They are very patriotic in their love for America and believe in this country. They are the AmeriCANs. They believe that this country allows you the opportunity to achieve your goals. They are optimists and believe you can do it if you try!


A Democrat - Tend to be younger people and many leave the party when they mature. Usually against the death penalty. All for a woman being able to kill her baby. They believe there should be income redistribution. They are jealous of those that worked hard to earn money and want large amounts taken away from them and given out to those people that don't work for it (for whatever reason, laziness, lack of motivation, etc.). They believe you shouldn't own a gun, you should be at the mercy of someone that invades your home. They are weak on military defense and think issues can be solved over a cup of coffee and a muffin (by fighting "sensitive wars"). They have no problems with illegal immigrants coming in loads over the border and even want to offer them welfare benefits, bilingual education (at the taxpayers expense) and driver's license (they cater to illegal immigrants). They love to raise taxes and think there is a program to fix everything (although this isn't true because programs have been in place for decades and the same problems still exist). They love welfare programs (no matter how much it costs taxpayers). They are all for rewarding unwed mothers with welfare. They see people, minorities and women especially, as victims of society and programs need to help them. (But ultimately those programs help to keep them in a less than equal status. When you don't raise to meet the bar and instead the bar has been lowered for you, you have not achieved equality.) They believe that minorities don't have what it takes to reach the bar without help. They have an "anything goes" attitude and are willing to change things for any hair brained new idea. They are soft on crime. They often would rather live in other places and aren't so patriotic. They do things to put down their own country (many of them hate their own country) and would rather live in France (I say go!!). They are the AmeriCANT"S. Weak on military, crime, defense, free enterprise... but strong on taxing people! They believe that you probably can't achieve your goals unless they help you to achieve them (through unions, affirmative action, welfare, etc.). They don't believe in people and their abilities to be able to go the distance. They see everything as an excuse, a setback or a reason to fail. They are pessimists and set up systems to keep people failing generation after generation."

There are so many holes in this tripe and I haven't had coffee yet. I could go on and on. Let me get some caffine in me and get a little nicer.

that the poster is a racist insensitive idiot-he's got it all wrong. He sees everything in stark terms yes/no, 'right'/'wrong', disregarding all complexity. And he's wrong when he says Dems tend to be younger. The Dems I know are all ages, though in my particular case they tend to be my age (53) or older. The Dems I know believe in a reasonable right to bear arms. They realize the inherent injustice in the way the death penalty is applied, and also know that a zygote is not the same as a viable human being. They believe in free enterprise-with limits. Enron is just one example of what happens when corporations are allowed to run 'free'.

Who has put America deeper into debt than at any other time in history and increased the size of Government larger than any modern day president. Bush* has been a failure at every single business he has ever owned or managed yet they want him to manage the country. Bush* has the most secretive government in memory and his whole Administration is made up of Felons and law breakers. Bush* himself has broken many laws including two DWIs while Cheney has Three DWIs in his record. Almost none of the Bush* Cabal have served a day in the military but are more than willing to send your son off to die in some war so they can reap huge profits.

selfish, greedy, mean, bigoted, gullible, prone to mass marketing, lyars, close minded, negative, hypocritical (they want small government until they wish the government to make people do what they think is right - such as taking a woman's decision away), bullies, uncaring, unsharing, have a distorted view of religion....inflexible, see only two colors - black and white, hence are incurious and wary of free thought, education, intellect.

I think this person stole this from the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous. The rest of it sounds like what Rush et al tell all their minions to say. But it is not the typical binary, black and white, oversimplified and at times untrue bilge they spew. One could write a library on this topic, and Herr/Frau Reichwing here thinks they have captured the "true honest difference" between the parties.

and I noticed the complete lack of this person mentioning the fact that the republicans are the ones trying to change the Constitution to further their agenda.
