How about a 527 to run Kitty Kelly allegations?

Why not? Get look alike actors to play the parts of George taking the drugs or the Pantie Party for Prince Bandhar.

I'd donate to that. The rules for this election are laid and they aren't going to change. We have to use everything at our disposal to win. If the swift boats vets did it, then the Friends of the Bushes gang can go to town and have a field day, I say.

After all, what wrong with them exercising their free speech. And it doesn't have to have a thing to do with the Kerry campaign - just like the Swift Boat Vets didn't have anything to do with Bush.

2. It's now illegal to run a 527 ad that names either candidate.

Only issue oriented ads are now allowed, like which party is gonna steal all your money to feed welfare queens vs. which party is gonna steal all your money to fatten the rich.

Kitty Kelly's book will have to stand on its own.

it doesn't matter what the truth is, only what someone is willing to "recollect"

Do I believe the Kitty Kelly stuff? Does it matter? They are mostly "he said she said stuff", so who really knows? So much of what we hear is B.S., I'd be really picking and choosing what I wanted to believe to put stock in it all.

and thanks for not taking offense to the question. I disagree, however with the swift boat vermin comparison. Official records so completely discredited them, it should have never been an issue. I have yet to see evidence about the * allegations, and in fact, there appears to be alot of historic evidence, that corroborates her story, but we shall see.

allowed to run ads.

527s are banned from running ads within 60 days, but some plan to ignore the law.

Expect to see major ads promoting the book in USA Today and NY Times. They may even spring for TV ads, especially in this political season.

This is better than any 527. It's free. And we owe it all to the great American tradition of making a buck!
