"This morning I signed legislation..."
I just heard on the news, Bush said that this morning he signed legislation to help Florida with the hurricane damage.

Legislation?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but congress passed no such legislation.

Has he gotten so arrogant that he considers his every decision "legislation"?

1. I'm surprised he didn't call it a "papal bull."
Or an edict from his good pal, GAWD.

2. that or he signed yet another "Executive Order"
Which I wish they'd freaking repeal already. I mean the Depression is long over and those emergency powers have to stop!

I'm sick of Exccutive Orders!

6. Oh I don't know
I think in cases like the Florida Hurricanes, Executive orders are perfectly suited to get folks help.

I think this is a situation where its being used appropriately.

Where I have a problem (and Im guessing you to), is when E.O are used to get around the legislative process for pet policies. And those..Im sick of too.
