Edited on Wed Sep-08-04 04:24 PM by grasswire
Wolf: "Are you referring specifically to the VP???"

Biden: "Yes"

Wolf: "Let me interrupt you"....and goes on to a remark of Kerry's on pre-emption.

1. Biden was great!
Wolf is such a shill. I know, I know the media is b.s. but, they never cease to amaze me. The scales fell from my eyes in 2000 so I'm still a bit shocked and awed by it all.

2. get the TIVO on this one
I believe Wolf cut the interview short.

Biden on Cheney's remarks: "Bald-faced, outrageous."

Biden: "This is the man who has been demonstrably wrong on every facet of Iraq. Wrong about the WMD, wrong about them greeting Americans with flowers....."

Gotta get the transcript of this one!

Wolf was flustered.

4. Now....
...Wolf gives Senator Brownback an opportunity to re-phrase what Cheney said.

Ha!

Wolf just said "if what Cheney said is true, the president and the vice president would be responsible for 9-11"!!

13. Brownback was tongue-tied............
and when he was able to speak again he said, well we knew someone was trying to harm us but we didn't know who or when (or something similar to that)which I thought they've always said they didn't know anything in advance. That they couldn't even dream of someone hijacking a plane and crashing it into a building. Oh pleeeezzzzz! YOU KNEW! You did NOTHING to protect us! You all should go.

7. I saw it & Biden was great.
Following Wolf's "pre-emption" remark, Biden said, (p/p), "No, no, no, we've never said pre-emption wasn't appropriate in all cases." He went on, asking Wolf, "Is North Korea a threat?", after which came a moment of silence between the two.

Wolfe said, "Well, the campaign is clearly heating up."

Biden: "It's a shame."

Biden is so effective.
