Sources: Clark led 7th Cav to annihilation at Little Big Horn
Errr, well, maybe not quite, but he commanded the 1st Cav at Ft Hood & the 7th Cav Regiment is part of the First Cav these days, and...

Like, wow, folks. Clark ain't necessarily my candidate, but some of these accusations (he led the charge at Waco or something?) are pretty damn' off-the-wall.

I don't know what kind of proof you want but
the Korean war stopped in July of 1953
making Wesley Clark 19 at the time

According to Clark's bio he graduated from the US military academy in '66

7. And don't forget that he's fluent in Commie-Speak!!
General Wesley Clark speaks fluent Russian and could become the first American President to do so. Why he has not boasted of this in campaigning for Leftist Democratic support is a mystery.

For more laffs, check out the rest of this lovely Horowitz-sponsored smear job:

http://frontpagemag.com/articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=9522

Excerpt:

Like Bill Clinton, Wesley was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford. While Clinton spent his time in sexual dalliances (and one alleged rape) and leading anti-American demonstrations in Europe and visiting the Kremlin in the dead of winter by special invitation, Clark was more studious. In August 1968 he emerged with a Master’s Degree in philosophy, politics and economics.

Clark, with his friend Lewis*, also went on a journey through the "Louisiana Purchase" about 200 years back.

* That's "Lewis Black", the angry comic you see on the Daily Show sometimes.

P.S. Is Clark behind the Clark Bar that rots your teeth and gives you brain damage too?

I think the post is good satire.....but belonged in the "Lounge" maybe.

It seems Mods agreed and the post has gone on.........But just a DU ALERT HERE: KoKo did alert because she didn't like the satirire and saw it as trashing Clarkies.....but asked Mods.....and Mods decided it was really satire....and now that I look further at the
But, just so you Clarkies know........even "The SPOILER" poster doesn't go so much for Clark or other candidates bashing here........so I did question.....but I can take it if there is some Kerry,Dean, Kucinich, Gebhardt, Sharpton trashing here.

Now.......I will not tolerate any Mosely-Braun or Sharpton trashing at this point. (I know all about Sharpton) and for me Lieberman just doesn't exist on the radar screen although there are some DU'ers who do like him..........so I'm just giving an "opinion here."

46. Just in from Tokyo
Godzilla is not a mythical creature. In 1889 General Wesley Clark visited a murderous rampage upon the proud nation of Japan. His technologically advanced bio mechanical suit was engineered by aliens from a nearby galaxy undetectable to ordinary humans. Crushing buildings and scaring people is all part of his Pinky and the Brain style plan of world domination.

Oh, big foot and MIB's? All Wesley Clark.

Note to Clark supporters, this is meant to be a sarcastic thread, NOT an attack on Wesley Clark. Just listing some of the lies the freeps are going to say about this great man.

You're saying that the Kosovo conflict was a grand endeavor?

The weakened Serrbian forces after the bomibing were hard-pressed to defend against reverse ethnic cleansing by Kosovar Albanians. I don't see what we accomplished by that misadventure.

84. Clark also killed some progressives' sense of humor
Although maybe not that of many Bosnians or Kosovars, I'm sure who still have one despite the depredations they suffered.

The label of reverse ethnic cleansing in this case about accurate as charges of reverse racism with regard to affirmative action. The truth contained there is washed out by the moral imbalance created by a lack of a sense of scale.

Any KLA atrocities after the bombing were (1) At least mitigatable by NATO and UN peacekeepers; and (2) Able to be documented by human rights NGOs present in Kosovo.

Clark may have indirectly killed a lot of my respect for anti-war activists. And Darranar, you'd better go home; he may have killed your dog.

86. "There WERE human rights abuses by Kosavar Albanians..."
On what scale. The Serbs went on a nearly ten year ethnic cleansing rampage. They started with the Croations, moved onto the Bosnians and were making short work of the Kosavarians when NATO finally stepped in. The real crime is that it took the rest of the world years to step in an stop the genocide.

Where innocent people accidently killed by U.S. forces? Yes. Is that unfortunate? Of course. Does that negate the fact that Milosevic was finally stopped? Not hardly.

Reprisals are an unfortunate common reaction to genocide. Do they mitigate the crimes committed by Milosevic and his henchmen. Not at all. Does this make it wrong that NATO stepped in? Only if you are a knee-jerk pacifist.

How many Kosavarians need to die before military intervention is justified?

How many would have died while we tried to asks Milosevic to kindly stop slaughtering people.

Is there ever a point when it is justifiable to intervene militarily when one group of people is hell bent on killing another?

On Edit. How would you rate Milosevic's handling of the situation.

I concur with this point and did not at deny it in my statement. See above on my point about the truth of your previous statement being practically washed out by scale--just as the truth of reverse racism that results as a result affirmative action is practically washed out by the actual reacism it is meant to combat.

Enlighten me :) Just which war in recent memory did anti-war activists correctly call according to you?

Yugoslavia? I think you already said no.

Iraq?

What do you think about what we did in Haiti?

What do you think about our various interventions in Latin America?

What do you think about Israel/Palestine and the our support of the Likud?

I'd love to know just which of our anti-war activities would have earned your respect.

Also, what signs didn't make any sense? "No Blood for Oil"? "No War"? My signs said "No to US Imperialism" & "There Can Be No Peace Without Justice".

Anyway, I'm confused because all the signs I saw made sense to me- except the signs at the Freeper rallies where the spelling was so lamentable you had no idea what they were trying to say. Apparently neither did they.

Clark proscribed the drugs to which Elvis became addicted thus leading to his eventual death.

Clark came up with the idea for "Boy Bands."

Clark detroyed the library at Alexandria.

Sixty five million years ago Clark altered the path of a large asteroid causing it to crash to earth near the Yucatan Peninsula resulting in the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Clark gave Ray Moore the idea to put up that ten commandments display in the first place.

Sauron is merely a minion of Clark who is really the Dark Lord Morgoth in disguise.

Clark is also one of the many incarnations of Lord Voldemort.

If it were not for James Bond, Clark would have destroyed the earth on many occasions.

Clark fathered Rosemary's baby.

Father Damien Karras cast Clark out of Regan MacNeil.
