Certain cartoonists make my eyes roll when they make allusions that Kerry needs to "get off his ass" and do something, like he's not taking the issues seriously, and they're so completely false about this. It isn't like he's not - you just don't hear about it as much as opposed to when Shrub or The Fearmaster say anything no matter HOW stupid.

They need to remember that he's not only fighting a ridiculously high number of Fuhrer W. Mushroomcloud asswipe diehards who'll happily accept "four more nightmares" whether out of fear or that they're just golddamned retarded Faux droolers, but Kerry's also fighting a Rethuglican-funded, highly partisan media who's benefitted heavily over the shitty news of the past 3.5 years. You control the media, you keep the ants fearful and IN LINE.

I feel this new attack on *'s guard record is designed to make Kerry look bad, seeing as how the public turned sick of the backlash of the SBL and it reflected badly on Kerry (even though Kerry repeatedly said "let's get back to the issues . . . if you have any to run on, that is" - but the media didn't see or care about that) despite what naval records said. The GOP is controlling the terms of this race, using their media as their remote. Giving the candidates equal fairness isn't something they're about to do.
