2. Good Kerry representatives on tap...
Rubin, Albright, and Sperling. Worried a bit about Biden, will he do his homework before showing up?

4. What, you mean he himself isn't the homework?
Sorry, couldn't let that one pass. I used to really like the man, and I still find him charming (and arrogant as ever, of course), but he's also still on my shit list.

10. Rubin really likes PNAC....I heard him on a C-Span panel...and I really
couldn't believe he was working for Kerry after I listened to him. He's married to Christiane Amanpour...I thought he was "balanced." When I heard him, he was spouting PNAC stuff....

Just my opinion...but Biden and Rubin....OMG!

11. You're thinking of James Ruben...this is Robert Rubin.
Edited on Sat Sep-11-04 07:12 PM by blm
And he is AMAZING when he talks about the economy as an issue. He was Clinton's Treasury Secretary.

James has misspoken a couple times but, overall he's pretty good. He certainly did a great job as the State Dept. spokesman for Clinton, but I'd submit his chops just need more practice.

7. Bob Rubin was on Charlie Rose and he is always interesting....he
supports Kerry and his negative comments in check about the administration...plus Charlie interrupts all the damn time...they discussed the deficit and how it might come down and the bush promise to cut it in half by growth...Rubin said every economist knows that cannot happen and will not happen....it is good to listen to a person who is reasonable.

13. Robert Rubin should have received the Nobel Peace Prize,
for his work in preventing economic collapse in Latin America and SE Asia.

Either he was robbed, or the Nobel committee is uninformed and unimaginative.
