I don't think that Bush can afford to lose. All the extra constitutional
acts he has committed, let his people like Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell,Wolfowitz and others commit in his behalf have made him vulnerable after he leaves office.I think he will try something very drastic if he sees the writing on the wall.I hope there are enough patriotic people within his administration, CIA, Defense Department to take preemptive action if he does something insane.

6. If you are right, our long nightmare is about to begin. W will be the
least of our worries. We can expect Jeb, Neil(!), George P. and, for good measure, Queen Jenna to line up for their coronation. The King/Queen of The United Kingdom of America has a nice ring to it don't you think? We may have to await the arrival of the next George III for the Republic to be reborn.

4. Yes, I had to look it up.
The 22nd Amendment limits the term of office of the President. Any attempt to change it will be a long process and would not apply to the current serving President.

3. correct-a-mundo . . . I've been saying this for months . . .
BushCo has no intention of letting Kerry or anyone else remove them from power . . . they will do whatever they must to keep that from happening . . . and given that they control EVERYTHING (government, media, voting machines, etc.), I'd say their chances of succeeding are pretty damn good . . .

with the capability, for example, of making the electronic voting machines kick out whatever results they want in key districts, and absolutely no chance of being caught, think that their sense of fairness or their ethics will keep them from doing just that? . . . if you do, you haven't been paying attention . . .

The nature of their international moves lately within just several weeks of the election suggest that they have no inkling that they will be lame ducks after the election. Nothing has been placed on hold.

8. You are right.
The military is honor bound to defend the constitution. The problem is clear and they are ready to act.
