I really wish CBS would do a story on free republic...

you know, shine a light on the cockroaches of America.

Taking the worst three or four posts out of millions over the last few years to put us in the worst possible light.

They are the real threat to world peace.

... I'm sending a letter to Aaron Brown of CNN, who still seems willing to tell the truth ... and ask him to do one of his "CNN Presents" shows about PNAC and the lead-up to the Iraq war.

PNAC = Project for the New American Century (A scary group of neocons, including Rummy, Wolfowitz and others who want the US to rule everyone else)

BFEE = Bush Family Evil Empire

LIHOP = "Let it Happen on Purpose"- the idea that the government knew 9/11 was going to happen and let it happen in order to manipulate the public.

MIHOP = "Made it Happen on Purpose"- the idea that the government was actively involved in the planning and execution of 9/11. Kinda a "tinfoil hat" deal.

but they should mention in one of their stories defending the memos that other networks have used "extremist internet message board posters" as sources.

there were a few times in the past year... where more hyperbolic, emotional posts on DU were picked up and repeated by folks like Boortz, Limbaugh and others... and each time it was followed by a HUGE infestation of tittering, slathering freeper types begging to rumble... which of course was followed by heavy traffic, time down due to too much traffic, and huge headaches for the mods and admin.

All I am saying is that pointing this out does not a freepermole make...

great country of ours and as far as the Laura Bush comment, well, it was a joke, you know, like the Purple Heart Bandaids and the missing WMD's under the WH couch. Geesh, freepers are so touchy.

I do not agree that this place has ever posted the psychotic crap that I have seen over there (the few times I have been). But you folks have made some good points as to why it should not be done.

John Smith 29 of Fresno, CA. was arrested earlier today for exposing himself to a schoolyard full of second graders. Police investigating the crime discovered Mr. Smith was a member of freerepublic.com a conservative political group/Internet web site notorious for their support of domestic terrorists like Timothy McVeigh and Eric Rudolph. Local press reports say Mr. Smith was encouraged to "flash the liberal brats" by dozens of the sites members after one poster revealed several democratic congresspersons children were enrolled at the school.

CBS contacted the sites owner Rim Job who told our reporter that Mr. Smith's constitutional right to freedom of expression had been violated and vowed that his "Freepers" would descend on the school on Monday to protest. "We will not stop until every single child at that school has seen our members" !
