Now that Dan Rather and CBS has apologized over the false docs

When will Baghdad Bush be an adult and apologize for using the forged Niger documents in justifying our need to attack another country?

2. This 'media' frenzy over something as unimportant

as fonts in documents reminds me of the summer of '01, you know, when they were all frothing at the mouth over Gary Condit and Chandra Levy, and bin Laden and his gang were quietly planning 9/11.

Bombs are blowing up behind reporters as they get out their dam magnifying lenses to inspect the memos?? SOmething is wrong with that picture, why does the media ALWAYS want to concentrate on what's not important?

the ball was already rolling by 2001. I have always blamed the rw congress for the whole mess. Every time the Clinton WH wanted to do something about bin landen they would get blasted by the rw, and accused of trying to redirect attention away from the pressing impeachment matters.

7. CBS has not admitted the docs were false. It just said it could not

prove their validity. For all we know, they are the real deal, but CBS and its source cannot prove it. And organizations attacking CBS cannot prove their falsity.

On the other hand, if the source that provided the docs outright admitted that they were forgeries, then the proof would be provided and the debate concluded. But this has not happened.

But nevertheless, to be accurate, CBS didn't admit that the docs were false, but rather, they could not prove their validity.
