I am so proud of American news organizations...

for exposing the forgeries of Rather-gate. Choosing correctly, to not getting bogged down and foolishly investigating such frivolous stories such as the outing of a CIA agent, who was wasting taxpayer money trying to track down weapons of mass destruction, they diligently went after the freedom hating Dan Rather and even managed to avoid discussing the silly and overwhelming evidence of preferential treatment our commander in chief was receiving, while literally disobeying direct orders, in a time of war. This, my friends, is no small feat, and it truly speaks to the heroic job that our press is conducting, for the public good.

1. Well said. They kept their eye on the prize and never wavered.

It used to mean something good, to have a "nose for the news".
Now it means your ability to sniff out ridiculous trivialities is unaffected by your proximity to the stink of your own corruption.
