Stop DeLay petition nearing 100,000. Sign it now. Don't delay.
http://www.blogforamerica.com/archives/005151.html
Earlier this summer you probably received an email from Governor Dean urging you to sign our petition to Stop Tom Delay in his efforts to subvert our political system.
The petition:
http://petition.democracyforamerica.com/page/p/stoptomdelay

The Daily Texan recently covered our petition with an article titled Petitioners Want Ethics Investigation.
http://www.dailytexanonline.com/news/2004/09/16/StateLocal/Petitioners.Want.Ethics.Investigation-720506.shtml

From the article: ..."An online petition signed by 80,000 supporters of Democracy for America is demanding that House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Sugarland, be investigated by an outside counsel to review ethics complaints against him.
Petitioners are demanding a new investigator because four-of-five of the Republicans on the current counsel, the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, received campaign donations from DeLay's political action committee.

"All we're asking for is a nonpartisan counsel to investigate," said Laura Gross, press secretary for Democracy for America. "We want justice and the right thing to be done for Texans."EMD SNIP

Recently, the number of petitioners has grown to almost 100,000. "The huge response shows that people all over the country care," says Laura.

If you have not yet signed our petition, please consider doing so now. If you have already signed it, help us to reach one hundred thousand by sending this link (www.democracyforamerica.com/stoptomdelay) to your friends via instant messenger, email, or word of mouth. The people of Texas - and Americans in general - deserve better than Tom DeLay's special interests running our government.

I just saw at Kos that DeLay was not indicted. Maybe the others will squeal.

14. done, here's my message
the house of representatives led by DeLay has
become an organization bent on subverting the
Constitution of the United States and all of
our laws.

DeLay's unethical dealings need to be investigated.

16. Thanks for your support. You said it so well.
DeLay is nothing but a bugman. He has got to be exterminated, and I mean that in a kind way. Just removed, that's all. You know how they catch some animals in cages and let them loose someplace else. A deserted island sounds good to me.
