Economy Booming,2nd, and last, major plant closing in our town.........
Headline this morning was not good news to the local economy. A few months ago Kimberly-Clark closes down a production line laying off half it's workers (the other half are waiting for the other shoe to drop) and now Nestle is closing its plant by 2005. Those are the two largest employers (and taxpayers) in this town and there are not any other decent factory jobs around this section of CT. I feel bad for the hundreds of families whose lives are going to be turned upside down.
FOUR MORE YEARS! Bullshit.
Probably the smartest move I made was going to work for myself 4 years ago.

1. Maybe the "W Ketchup" company will open a plant there?
