Aaron Brown and Jeff Greenfield saying Iraq is THE issue
in this years election for swing voters. If you feel we are safer you will vote Bush,if you think it's a mess you'll vote Kerry. Well I would say it should be a slam dunk for Kerry. If you don't see Iraq as a quagmire you ain't paying attention.
I haven't talked to ONE person who thinks things are going "swimmingly" in Iraq or we are safer. All of them think Iraq is a disaster. Say hello, President Kerry.
I think a lot of people are NOT paying attention ... at least to honest sources -- they hear spin babble and brief reports on how tough things are so it ends up being a wash and they can live with it. That's the problem. :(
that was made (and I rarely if ever say a good point was made on CNN).
It was what Kerry laid out the other day - Iraq never should have been the centerpiece of the "war on terror". It was a diversion. If people are convinced of this, Kerry wins.
12. media's job is to "hide the real issues" from the voters....
shrubya can't get elected with the economy and healthcare as issues...
The media has made terror the issue...
BTW.... how is Iraq considered terror? We invaded Iraq with NO connections to Al Quaeda.
We don't have a sniff who is really fighting us... media tell us terrorists... why can't it be people who don't want the US as "occupiers" and a US govt?
