I could kick myself because I didn't have a camera once.

I saw an Army recruiting table, went up to it and among the literature was... a Bush/Chaney bumper sticker!

I was so mad that I went ballistic. I demanded that it be removed immediately. This cutie pie Sgt. in uniform said that the stick belonged to her Lt. and that it was fine for it to be there. She said Bush was their " Commander In Chief!"

I was so mad, I went over to my friend, who had been in the Army, and he went over there and went crazy on them. They quickly removed it.

Then they got on their cell phones, making calls to everyone I am sure. Pretty soon the Cutie Pie came over and gave me three little
souvenir key chains. Tried to play nicey nicey.

I told her that was WRONG and from one African American to another , she should be ashamed of herself!

Oh, to have taken a camera with me!

I just called about 30minutes ago and volunteered for anywhere in my county they needed me here in OH. Good luck to you too.

for Jebbie's election and it was very nice. No problems, but this time won't be so easy, I don't think. We have lawyers' phone numbers to call. I don't trust the cops--they are in on it. They put up roadblocks near black precincts here last time.

We moved here two years ago from NE, so we weren't around for the mess in 2000. I wanted to be involved in the elections process somehow. I am very glad that I did. I worked the primaries and will also be working the Presidential elections. I hope we have poll watchers at every polling place. Nothing suspicious went on at the church I worked at for the primaries, but this year we can't be too careful. BTW what is with FL and having so many churches serve as polling places? More people need to sign up to be election workers. I was the only one below 40, two women were in their late 60's and the others were all in their 70's and 80's. Not preaching, just a suggestion that more "younger" people need to get involved.
