Will work for compliments: I'm officially free of college
Edited on Thu Sep-23-04 07:19 PM by noahmijo
Long story, but basically during my horrible test today for Operations Management I realized I hate this damn subject and was going to get a second degree in this area, but I should just stick with my Management Info Systems degree that I just completed this summer (University of Arizona).

So of course I'm screwed out of thousands of dollars in tuition but such as the filthy pirating ways of every university in the world. Oh yes and of course they must "tax" me extra due to my decision to drop out "early"

This should be the symbol for every university out there

So I'm on the hunt for a job, I'm 23 as of this September and I'm tired of living with my parents. I already applied to 4 major companies and awaiting responses which might take awhile.

Meantime anyone have any use for a college grad with no job and no IT experience? I could make you some salsa or play my guitar really loud. :)

2. I think you should stick with the education

even if you later decide to not go all the way for the degree.

Quitting can become a habit and its important to get past short-term frustrations and give yourself time to both better appreciate the value of material (or come to the opposite conclusion after due consideration).

And wasting the money is a bad idea when you can at least get some educational benefit from the investment already made.

Especially since the job situation is uncertain. Extra skills and knowledge can help, even when its not in the job description.

The main factor is that I hate this subject I have no interest in it. If someone hired me solely for my knowledge in this area I'd become a drunk I would very unhappy. It's just not what I thought it was going to be.
